NZ Beef and Lamb River Catchment Group Case Study.

We work a lot in the agri space, whether sharing stories about cutting edge tech or amazing people, it’s an exciting space to be in.  But the stories that touch us the most are the ones that make a difference to us all.

When New Zealand Beef and Lamb brought this project to us to develop, it was a chance to jump on a story that makes a difference to the environment and to our community.  We often hear about the doom and gloom of the environment so a chance to tell a story about people making an impact was too good.

Our challenge was to bring out the story of a Water Catchment Group near Miranda, returning their waterways and pockets of native forest to health.   However farmers are famous for being a staunch lot but, have a good conversation about something they're passionate about and you’d find a good yarn.   It’s these yarns really showed the passion, dedication and hard work that these catchment groups are putting in to help leave a legacy for all our children.

If you’re inspired by this story then there are plenty of ways you can get involved in a catchment group near your area.  From planting to being on the committee, Aotearoa needs more people to get involved. Follow the link below to find out more, and be inspired.
